Muhamuha du Batanes (plants of Batanes) is the official information dissemination and public awareness campaign of the DOST-PCAARRD funded project “Floral Diversity and Ecological Drivers of Plant Assemblages in the Batanes Archipelago.” This website serves as the campaign’s digital platform for sharing accessible scientific information, visual documentation, and educational resources that highlight the rich and unique flora of the Batanes archipelago.
Through this initiative, the project aims to promote awareness, appreciation, and conservation of the region’s plant biodiversity among local communities, students, researchers, policymakers, and the general public. By bringing biodiversity knowledge closer to people, Muhamuha du Batanes seeks to strengthen environmental stewardship and encourage the protection of the natural heritage of the Batanes Protected Landscape and Seascape.
